  1. Introduction to Spatial-Informatics & Digitalized Technology
    • Spatial information and digital engineering industry has become one of the important pillar industries of our country’s economy development. At the same time, it has provided important tools and means for the other national economies. As an independent specialty under the discipline of geoinformatics science, computer science, information science, telecommunication science, Spatial-Informatics & Digitalized Technology is the basis of Digitalized Engineering science, and the applications of it have bright future in agriculture, mining, metallurgy, transportation, environment, ocean, navigation, administration, urban planning and national defense.
    • The speciality of “Spatial-Informatics & Digitalized Technology” was created for cultivating the advanced talents of information technology adapting to the development of national scientific technology and economy. After graduate students entered this speciality, they will be cultivated and enhanced deeply in the basic theory and professional knowledge. In addition, they will be trained strictly and heightened in both application practice and independent research work. Moreover, they will become compound information and entrepreneurial talents, with comprehensive development in moral, intellectual and physical education, urgently needed by the nation and society. After graduation, they will be occupied in the fields of education, research, geo-spatial information industry, enterprise and public institution and so on.
    • We have published about 100 papers at core academic magazines, internal and external, a couple of bookmaking. And we have finished decades of projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, the National Key Fundamental Research Program (973), and the National and Departmental R&D Program, getting several Science Technology Improvement and Advanced Teaching Material awards. Every year, there is millions of researching outlay. We have a stable and rational academic team, including 15 faculty among which there are 4 professors and 5 associate professors.
